Jaimie and Ryan, Wedding at The Canterbury Place

Jaimie and Ryan had their wedding with us last fall. They had the funnest theme and colors and put their personalities into every detail of their wedding. We asked them to tell us about some details of their event. Here is what they said:


How you met: Working at U of U ER

How he proposed: We took a cruise for his b-day to the Caribbean, and he asked me on the top deck under a starry sky, on the formal night. awwww!!

Wedding Date: Sept. 18, 2009

Wedding Ceremony and Reception Location: The Canterbury Place

Wedding Song: So Close-John McLaughlin "enchanted"

Wedding Colors: Hot Pink, Lime Green & Black

Theme: Carnival/Party

Special Touches/ Décor Elements: Wedding Video, Colorful Hanging Lanterns, Ice cream buffet, Popcorn, Cotton Candy.

Most memorable moment for the Bride: Coming into the reception, being announced Mr. and Mrs. Kirkman, and our first dance together as husband and wife.

Most memorable moment for the Groom: Dancing with Jaimie for the first time married.

Rings: Groom: white carbon fiber wrapped tungsten, Bride: Beautiful, antique looking 1.25 caret square ring with band!
